Is Janelle Stuck Without a Ride?

Jim Matthews was juggling the schedules of both daughters that evening. Janelle hopped in a pickup with Deanna and her dad, Russ Ross. When they pulled up to the Matthews home at about 8.30 p.m., nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Jim arrived home from Jennifer's basketball game at 9.30, about an hour after Janelle. 30 minutes later, Jennifer arrived home. She usually came home and would watch TV and never had any problems about not being where she was supposed to be. What was the back of your neck telling you anything?
