This is the largest ever net loss for a company entering the public markets for the first time full stop. This was one of the things that stood out to me reading the S1. I don't care as much about net income losses because that's how tech companies work. The scary thing about Lyft is that when you do the math and add up all their variable costs relative to their net revenue, they are losing money on a variable basis too.
