Machine Learning Is a Great Way to Reanimate the Dead, or Similacrums of the Dead
i think that part of what we need, if we're not going to get lulled into believing that, you reanimations of the dead are the real thing, is we need glitches. I mean, when a couple of years ago now, i thought there was a family heritage web site a that was using machine learning to produce very brief animations. There'r lots of non benign things that could be created that could have quite negative social and historical effects if they were allowed to be perceived as real in later years. It's like an uncanny valley, but for er ye, for holograms and avotos, but ethically.
