Are We Moving Out of Arranged Marriages?

Romeo and Juliet was written after the reformation of Martin Luther. The popular idea now is that children can choose their own spouse. There's this tension because we are coming out of a more futile sort of arranged marriage timeline. We're moving towards what we have today, which is something that we have to thank for Luther and Calvin.
