Dr. Nishtres says Ayurvedic medicine is mostly dismissed as being herbs, rubbish and non-scientific by modern medical practitioners. India needs to create its own scientific incidence ofAyurvedic research, he adds. And whatever breakthroughs happen, patent them and make sure that they are attributed to Ayurveda - it's something we should not complain about.
