Is There Really a Moral Effect?

The virtuous victim effect did not extend to the victims of accidental misfortune. Victims of theft, were seen as more morally virtuous than neutral targets who didn't lose their eye pad. And we also found that the effect didn't extent equally to these positive traits that had nothing to do with morality. So i'm suggesting that it's not just that we feel bad saying a things that aren't superpositive about anyone who suffered an negative outcome.
