i think it's important to understand that was really the extraordinary leadership of j c r licklider and robert taylor, who were at arpa when all this business started. They funded ivan sutherland, who invented computer graphics, who later succeeded them at arpa. And funded allan kay. It's really useful in a group in advance of having to approach big decisions, to sort of make the meda decision of who will just make a call when it comes to it. Otherwise, if you don't do that, and you all respect each other and want, want everyone to agree, then you end up in this situation whereyou don't do anything at all.
