How to Go on Bypass
We go on bypass and that is of course after they have usually placed central cannulas in the heart. The goal is for your arterial waveform to be totally flat Meaning that you have sucked all the blood out of the right side of the heart It's going to the circuit and then you give it back into the aorta so there's no flow going through the heart Okay, and so there're no pulsatility so your a line is flat correct That's not flat at zero.
