The Importance of Scents in Filmmaking
Kopfmann Ali: I wanted to start off by talking about a little girl who had a particular gift for scents. She would collect a little bit of a wide range of different scents in little jars, which is something that I would do when I was a little girl together with my twin sister. And so starting from that idea, I built the character of Vicki. "I think it's a very difficult thing to do," says Kopfmann Ali on directing short films and feature length movies.
