Did You Have Any Carismatic History Teachers?

I was steeped in jewish history, but only because of my father's influence. I don't remember any one that deeply inspired me. But i read books from a very young age and still do to day. And his sumations, his wonderful books, that he was a wonderful history and a wonderful writer.
