Is Cevarin Torturing the Torturers?

Cevarin has to enlist the military that's going to help him because he can't assume the torturers will all go peacefully in the cells. Cevarin is doing a form of torture on these people, absolutely. But then you argue is like, you know, it's the means justify the ends. And in this case, it's just it's only psychological torture. It's not actually torture. Well, it's like, let's go towards it,. It is actually imprisonment as well. Yeah, it is actually torture. So we talk about this idea of like Cevarin sloughing off that shadow. He isn't. He's more complex than that.
