The Origins of Mars' Water

NASA scientists were able to make this hypothesis, or educated guess, based on rock samples from the Martian surface. By using this data, they were able to predict that Mars once had a giant ocean. But after that, Mars was as dry as a bone,. leaving behind dry riverbeds and canyons that we can still see today.
