The Theology Mill

CHAPTER

The Crucifixion of Paul's Self

Paul speaks about the apocalypse of his own self in Galatians 2. Paul does understand himself to have been crucified and you know when he unpacks what that means let's say in a text like Philippians 3. These are texts of radical undoing and bringing forth of something radically new so I find these much more apocalyptically oriented texts to be really determinative of how to understand Paul.
