The Correlation Between High IQ and Utilitarianism

I feel like there's a correlation between people who are high IQ and utilitarian leaning. I don't think most people are going to become utilitarian at any point soon, but precisely because almost everyone would like the world to be better. We have surveys on what things do people worry about when choosing a career. And from memory about 80 or 90% of people say that they would like their career to make the world a better place to help other people. So even if you're only concerned with self-interest, then you have a reason to want your career to be actually helpful to other people.
