The Fecal Microbiota Transplant

There were a few bacteria species missing from babies who had alergies compared to those who didn't. Reshit built an experiment where they transferred the missing bacteria species into the guts of alergy prone mice and it worked. The experiment woke these immune cells known as regulatory tea cells, and that resulted in protection from an ellergic response. So now, for alergy treatment, they use fecal bacteria from people who don't have the alargies and transfer them into people who do. And they do it orally in little capsules. But eating something that tastes and or smells like poop, i think that crosss a line.
