Saul's Response to Spiritual Abuse

Saul tried to give David his daughter in marriage because she was an idol worshipper. The only way he could destroy david was to get him away from being with god. So i give him my daughter. That's an idol worshippers. Adm, davi's not even looking at it that way. Od, man, who am i to be? And he no, god ain't with him. ButDavid has enough respect. For many of us who've been hurt and abused, the first thing is he never undercut the authority of the leader, but honored it, even while being abused.
