Top Gun Propaganda
Top Gun is not trying to make a controversial statement. But it's attempting to do so invisibly, which I would say is also part of successful propaganda. The filmmakers desire to make a film that was cool was made at the expense of the facts in this film. Whether or not it's an actual advocation for their political philosophy, I couldn't say. And then you will be left to decide for yourself morally how you feel about that.
