Vedantic Hinduism appears to be best categorized as polytheism or henotheism. Although even very on we see some shades of early pantheistic speculation. For example, the concept of an underlying order to the cosmos is found in the Vedantic idea of rita. The four mentioned Logos was equated with a handful of things, one of them nature and the other buring from her klitus was fire. Also the god of fire Agni appears frequently in early Vedantic texts and is understood to penetrate old reality.
