Japan and the Rest of the World Are Moving in the Opposite Direction in Fiscal Policy
After onset of pandemic, developed countries tried to support economy by expanding their total government expenditures. Japan tries to keep that when other countries are rezoning. This may put financial market attention to Japan's fiscal deficit or government debt. In South Dakota last year, Japan is in the middle of the pack, tens highest out of 24 countries.
