The Doctrine Committee says Catholic healthcare services must employ all appropriate resources to mitigate the suffering of those who struggle with gender and congruence. The means used must respect the fundamental order of the human body, which is what we talked about earlier. John: Gender dysphoria is a real affliction. It should be properly treated with counseling, psychiatric help, support for these people.
