A Snippet at Tax Is Better Than a Fair Ad Market
The news industry isn't dominated by patrician media barons committed to the democratic role of the press. Private equity roll ups reduce major metro's daily papers into skeleton crews operating at a brick bunkers the size of a chipotley. The owners of these papers are typically far right idealogues who debt load their acquisitions, demand government bail outs and then publish manifestoes glorifying market lism. And killing commercial surveillance will take us most of the way to a better adteck market.
