What's the Difference Between Districts and Neighborhoods?
Before the pandemic, China had a rough form of democracy where pretty much anyone technically could stand for election in their neighborhood counties. But post-credemic, these organizations are essentially just extensions of the university of states and they're not going to let any random joke with them get elected. So now a bit generally, as far as I can tell, a higher authority is send down a list, perhaps with consultation with neighborhoods, people drop approved candidates,. They then send them down for election. Like sometimes you have real choice between party-approved counties? Yeah.
