Indirect Prophetic, i.e. Type Typology
The allusion to Zechariah 12, 10 in Revelation 1, 7 is palpable. It's the most explicit example of this where John doesn't quote the whole thing. So sometimes Beel says even though John doesn't explicitly cite passages in a direct manner, he will use the Old Testament and then again, by implication, John says that this was the fulfillment of that thing over there. He'll do that. Number six, indirect prophetic, i.e. typological fulfillment. David Baker provides a solid general definition identifying a type as, quote, a biblical event or institution which serves as an example or pattern for other events, persons or institutions.
