When looking for a creative partner, look at yourself and understand what you do best. Then write down the things that you like doing the most in a creative project. Do you value each other as people outside of the work that you're doing? I think it's very idealistic and natural to think, "Let's get some people together and let's create something" But if you're getting really serious about it, 'it is a challenge'
