The International Age in South Korea

South Korea has officially adopted the international age for almost all purposes. This means that everyone will now turn back the clock and be a year or two younger. People with birthdays in the second half of the year will subtract two years from their age. Taiwan, Japan, and North Korea followed similar age customs, but transitioned to the international standard decades ago.
