The Different Meanings of Father
God the Father is not just some pumped-up version of your dad. All human fathers are supposed to reflect the Father in his great kindness only though where some do that well others do a better job of reflecting the devil. To be father means he loves his son he gives life to his son John 17 24 Jesus says father you loved me before the foundation of the world and that is the God revealed by Jesus. He talks about himself as a spring or fountain of living water and scripture again and again comes back to that image.
