The Spread of Politics in a Post Modern Age
We're simultaneously in a post modern age where meaning is fractured and yet we have lots of people who, in their struggle to substitute politics for meaning, are as fanatical as anybody in any cause ever. And they don't seem to recognize that that it's very contingent. It's strange that people are so capable of having an overriding narrative that drives everything they do. So you search for something and you find a mole hill, and that's what you got o you want to make it it a mountain, right? Because molehill, sir, just don't fill that empty space inside of you. This is really not a mole hill. It's a mountain.
