Modern Hebrew and Yiddish writers are grappling with the changing notion of Jewish identity. They were rejecting a different set of beliefs onto, you know, they were changing the belief structure while trying to maintain the plot in some of these stories. So I'm going to give one example that probably will be familiar to some of your readers. It's the story of this rabbi who dresses as a Polish peasant and then goes into the forest.
