Jon li: I thought, menonites won't do that. They're pacifists and always just a marie condo experience away from from a mid century modern aesthetic. So i i ruined my whole twenties visiting megga churches and religious theme parks and attending healing services. And i was, of course, immediately struck by the fact that the prosperity gospel was, like i had done, too easily caricatured.
