How Do I Stand Out on Paper?
The aim of the application is to give me through the SIFT process. At interview, it's all up for grabs. The one thing that you want to stand out is why do they want to come to us as a set? So you don't read every single part of the application form. You read the key parts that tell you why that person is interested in you. And then that's really being true to themselves. Avoiding spelling mistakes is key. It doesn't make great impression. I think pith and concision never go amiss. There's a word count on each of the answers and you should obviously use as much space as you need to give a full answer.
