The Uniqueness of Jesus's Death

Is Christ's death unique? It is not unique at all in that scapegoating deaths like this happen constantly. So is Jesus as a scapegoat different? No. However, the way in which he scapegoated is unique. The letter to the Hebrews literally undercuts the entire mechanism of scapegoating as it was practiced. And even faith is sacrifice. Underminds that too. In that point, you're still seeing Jesus as just one sacrifice amongst millions.
