The Union Paradox: The Tight Labor Market and the Low Unemployment Rate
Unions are the most popular among Americans, according to a Gallup poll. But since the 1980s, union membership in the United States has fallen by 50%. Right to work laws that have been passed in a number of states make it more difficult for workers to join unions. There's this heightened awareness toward income inequality coming out of the 2008 recession.
