Shamans are priests and healers, they are essentially mediators between the human world of the scene and the unseen spirit world. The problem is that the shamans are dying out and they're not being replaced by the younger generation. Everyone I met was worried about the shortage of shamans. None more so than Cipamelo, the most influential ego.
