Introduction

Janine Joseph was born in the Philippines and moved to the US when she was eight years old. In 2008, a car smashed into her from behind at a stoplight; it left her with memory loss. The poem she'd been writing became something of a guide. She's come out with a new collection where the accident and its aftermath take center stage.
