How to Stay a Designer Once You're a Design Leader

Tim Allen is the chief design officer at Instacart. He says he's been able to delegate a lot of that work because his organization is more mature than many other VPs in their roles. His team also has what he calls "his hammer" who runs the org for him, which allows him to focus on where he wants and not have to spend so much time evangelizing or educating.
