What Kind of Tools Do You Have for Chronic Pain Patients?
The one of the best things to do is honestly to listen which I think physical therapist is a whole they've already gotten this message how powerful listening is listening and education are one of my fallbacks. You can gently introduce something new about someone's pain that validates their experience. For example, she'd said that she continues to have pain even even in a healed C section scar. Meditation is a really good training program for that. And often people have found this on their own so I would even suggest asking do you have a mindfulness practice or have you ever explored that? It's all an attention game.
