The Downside of Passive Flows Unwind
The concern I have is that all those people that put money into the market last year are going to be future sellers and nothing motivates sellers more than lower prices. And that could be a cascading type of fact. Tom, do you think that once it breaks below 4,000, then it could get to 3,200? If so, perhaps buying deep out of the money put options would be a better way to express that view than sort of outright shorting.
