I grew up in Huntington Beach, California. I was exposed to a lot of surfing and beach culture as a kid. Also my father was really quite into cars, specifically more German cars. That definitely rubbed off on me at an early age. And so that manifested in playing with Legos and building go-karts,. restoring vintage bicycles and building mini bikes. shaping his own surfboards and car stereos. As he got a bit older, then naturally cars became more of the focus. I restored my first car when I was 15. And that was kind of the beginning of it all, I would say.
