The Importance of Systematic Theology
People often say that systematic theology isn't actually very biblical. We would be better off just reading the Bible on face value, taking each passage as it comes, and not trying to go much beyond that. But what I want to actually argue for is that it is the unity of Scripture and the idea of God as the divine author who inspired all of it that should embolden us to do systematic theology.
