God Makes Us Participants in the Giving and Forgiving Process
In christ, jesus, as his response to the charity that other people gave to him, he recognizes that god is the one who backs up all his debts. And there is a reciprocal element to this. We request forgiveness as we have forgiven others. If we're not actually forgiving, we're not truly participating in the release from sins and all these other things that the kingdom has brought in. That's just impossible. To participate in the life of the kingdom is to become an active participant in theLife of the Kingdom.
