Is the Sun Moving Relative to the Galaxy?

The sun is orbiting the centre of the galaxy, but to avoid falling into that black hole, it has to move really fast. It moves at 800 thousand kilometers per hour relative to the center of the galaxy. You can find the motion of our galaxy relative to all the stuff in the universe - like the average of all the things in the universe. But again, you have to measure the motion of the galaxy relative to other stuff.
