What Was the Great Deep?

The great deep is a hebrew word called to home, and it just means deep. Ancient peoples thought that the earth floated on these deep waters. And underneath the deep waters was the underworld,. as well as something called the pillars of the earth. The earth was covered by a series of domes. One of them is called the firmament, andt sort of like nesting dolls.
