The US Congress Was Overwhelmed by Chronic Bipartisan Dysfunction
The brawl over Republican congressional leadership currently playing out in Congress is really a sideshow. These are the predictable antics of a fully dysfunctional legislative body, one that long ago abandoned any monocum of seriousness. We probably need to see even more open displays of just how absurd this entire institution has become. Perhaps then Americans will wake up to the importance of demanding that these people stop grandstanding and do their jobs.
