The Overlooked Aspect of Nutrition
I think the biggest insight and takeaway for me has been this overlooked aspect of nutrition that, you know, when I was growing up, nutrition was macronutrients. And then I watched the revolution around phytonutrients. We're probably just on the cusp of nutrogenomics really becoming a bigger field. The current fitness trend is probably one gram of protein per pound of body weight right now. There's only four places we get calories from. We get them from carbs, fat, protein and alcohol. You have to get something like close to 3000 calories a day if you're just moderately training.
