The Power of Perception

When mindfulness is not so strong, it obscures the true nature of phenomena and we see only the appearance of things. This factor plays a tremendously powerful role in keeping us bound to misunderstanding two wrong view. When you look at a line of ants from a distance, what do you say? You see just a line, one unbroken black line for the black ants, and white if they white ants. We don't see, we don't understand the underlying reality. One example which we have used in different of the groups is the example and it is very fresh in the mind coming from Burma. A few examples of how perception when it is too strong in the mind, conditions wrong view.
