Writing Code or Writing a Novel?

In both cases, whether it's writing code or creating a world building out a novel, i'm looking for situations with om interesting dynamics. The great novel has got a situation that compels ordinary people to do interesting things. A novel will live and die by whether you believe in the characters. And of the day, a story's got to have a plot,. It's got ta move, it's got ta change.
