Automation Is a Myth

"Automation is a myth because it's something that really distracts us or prevents us from understanding what's happening on the ground," he says. "The rhetoric of this sort of grand narrative where automation will replace all the jobs and take over from the human whoever that is...is not going to sweep across the globe." The author also argues that labor is racialized and gendered so these impacts will not happen to all humans equally they will happen to some humans more than others. 'By pushing back against this myth we can then actually dig into the conditions race conditions or geographical conditions'
