The Differences Between Early Molecular Biologists and Edison's Work

i write a description of these early molecular biologists and their work throughout the 1930s and early 1940s. The learning was much more in the realm of learning by doing than stereotypical scientific learning. These practical learnings were often things related to how and why experiments materials and solutions behaved the way they did in this new area of science. i'm not saying there isn't one there very well might be a distinction but it's not as clear as you would think.
