The Beginning of Hell

In 2007 the Catholic Church officially abandoned limbo a really important point which we're going to come back to but you might say this is kind of still hell wallow one. Dante's really relying upon his master he regards Virgil as his external guide as he's learning to trust his inner guide and so at this point early in his journey he's still really dependent upon Virgil. In another way his understanding and his poetry isn't going to be enough because it's going to have to extend beyond what it's been capable of previously.
