Time that you spent doing something is going to have some advantages. As we do more research on things like video games, we're starting to discover that there are actually some measurable, scientifically valid advantages that gamers have over the rest of the population. The last thing to consider is that we have to be kind of careful, because if we've fallen into video games and social medium and technology and things like that, it's too late for me. That emotional damage requires a coping mechanism. And this is what can really get people stuck, is by turning more to technology.
